Overview

System Requirements for the YuJa Software Capture for PC Application 

  • Processor: 2 GHz x86 – or x64-bit Dual-Core Processor (Recommended: 2.4 GHz, Quad-Core) 

  • Memory (RAM): 2 GB RAM (Recommended: 4 GB RAM) 

  • Hard Disk: 100 MB for install (approximately 250 MB per hour of content for temporary storage) 

  • Operating System:  Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 (both 32 and 64 bit versions) 

  • USB Webcam/Mic: Required for local video and audio capture 

System Requirements for the Software Capture for Apple Application 

  • Processor: 2 GHz x86 – or x64-bit Dual-Core Processor (Recommended: 2.4 GHz, Quad-Core) 

  • Memory (RAM): 2 GB RAM (Recommended: 4 GB RAM) 

  • Hard Disk: 100 MB for install (approximately 250 MB per hour of content for temporary storage) 

  • Operating System:  MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher 

  • USB Webcam/Mic: Required for local video and audio capture 

System Requirements for the YuJa Mobile Application for Android 

  • Operating System:  Android 7 (Android Nougat) or higher 

  • Camera / Mic:  For video and audio recording 

System Requirements for the YuJa Mobile Application for iOS 

  • Operating System:  iOS 11 or higher 

  • Camera / Mic:  For video and audio recording 

System Requirements for the Browser Capture Studio 

  • Browser:  Latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), or Firefox browsers. 

  • Operating System:  Windows 10, macOS 10.15 or higher, or the latest Chrome OS. 

  • Mobile: Google Chrome and Firefox Mobile browsers on Android 9 or higher. 

  • Internet Connection: A stable connection of 8-10mbps download and 3-6mbps upload is recommended. 

  

Minimum Requirements for Watching a Live Stream 

This guide is intended to instruct users on how to properly utilize the Video Platform for the best live stream viewing experience. 

Windows OS Requirements 

  1. Operating System:  Windows 8.1 and above 

  1. Recommended Browsers:  Chrome 34+, Mozilla Firefox 42+, Internet Explorer 11+,  Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi and Opera. 

  1. Internet Connection:8-10mbps download speed is recommended. Check your connection at net. 

macOS Requirements 

  1. Operating System:  MacOS 8 and above 

  1. Recommended Browsers:  Chrome 34+, Mozilla Firefox 42+, Safari, Vivaldi and Opera.

Mobile Requirements 

  1. Android: 7.0 and later. 

  1. iOS:  iOS 11 and later. 

  1. Supported Browsers:  Chrome for Android 34+, Firefox for Android 41+, Samsung Internet for Android and Safari for iOS. 

  1. Internet Connection:  When watching content on mobile, we recommend that users have a bandwidth of at least 5 MB per minute for standard video quality, and 10-12 MB per minute for high definition.
