Overview
Your MyAthens password is the password associated with your Athens State University email address allowing access to many resources including Email (Microsoft), Canvas, and MyAthens Portal.
If you do not know your password, use the steps below to reset your MyAthens Password.
Resolution
To reset your MyAthens password, use a web browser on your computer or mobile device.
Navigate to Athens State University Password Reset.
Complete the prompts on the Password Reset window.
Note: If you do not know your Athens State University ID number, click the Do not know your ASU ID? button.
Click the Proceed to Policy Acceptance and Reset Password button to review and accept the policy.
Review the Password Reset Rules and criteria for setting your new password.
After resetting your MyAthens Password, sign into your email (Microsoft) or MyAthens Portal with your new password.
Troubleshooting
If any of your (previous) passwords are saved on your computer and or mobile device, you will be prompted to enter your new MyAthens Password.
